Beautifully carved mother of pearl shell with hinged shell stand nailed into back of shell to stand up and display. This piece is a beauty. The carving is gorgeous and detailed so minutely. A new detail pops out every time the viewer looks at the shell. The carving depicts “The Manger,” with Jesus Christ in the center. “Gloria” is carved into the top of the carving with angels. In excellent condition. A very neat piece. Vintage, so slight discolorations in some spots may be present, and a small chip or two, but overall fantastic. The shell measures about 5.75”x 4.5”.
