Amazing condition for its antique age, this hand mirror is made of brass, beveled glass, and has a celluloid lithograph decorating the back of the mirror. The lithograph depicts two Victorian women, one in a chair crying, and the other consoling her. The details are amazing. The lithograph measures 4.5” in diameter, and is held in place on the back of the mirror with a neat brass design, which also is the same design used to hold the mirror on. There are brass curlicues around the edges of that, adding a very neat look. The handle is a wrapped design. The glass is in amazing condition for its age. Some patina, but overall still usable even. A gorgeous piece. The mirror, including the brass designs on the edges, measures about 5.5” in diameter. The whole piece measures about 10.5” tall x 5.5” wide. Very unique mirror.
