Ask a questionVintage patriotic ceramic wall pocket with an American eagle and stars. A beautiful white, this wall pocket has two holes on the back for easy hanging. The back also is stamped. Cannot read the stamping, so cannot tell the origin, but the piece is a simple and beautiful style. I have added a few items for dimension and affect. I sewed a vintage cutter quilt piece together to make a miniature quilt. The quilt piece has American flag colors and motif, and measures. I also made three small dried arrangements, one of dyed red rabbit tails, one of dyed red flax, and one of our farm’s Montana winter wheat. I also added a patriotic tag with a homespun plaid rag strip tied to the tag. Simple and beautiful. You could keep the wall pocket decorated as is, or remove items and use the items as shelf sitters, etc. Fun and versatile.
